I made a call to BTCL for changing the DNS record of http://www.novel.com.bd as I am the owner. I asked them to give me email address of customer care or concern person but refused me. He said that I have to personally come at office and have to submit an application. Why BTCL still in old arena !!! Why they don’t verify the email ? It is not necessary every people has to come there. Worldwide peoples are doing web hosting solution to based on email. BTCL require to rectify their old tradition. I made a call to my friend ; he has been using http://www.unicorn.com.bd. He also complained me that BTCL asked him charge to change his email address and DNS address. As a result he is not able to switch any other web hosting company and paying lots of money !!! Why should we face such trouble in BTCL ???? How you solve my problem ?

We need 5 telephone connection for our factory in Sarifpur, Gasa, National University, Gazipur. Now please tell me will I get free connection? also please let me know the possibilty of ADSL internet service with those number.

You have to apply to DE, BTCL, Gazipur. Free connection offer is available there now, but there might be some problems of shortage of primary cables. Please contact DE, Gazipur, Phone: 9263366, 9263377.

ADSL Bcube broadband service is available at Gazipur, National University(Boardbazar) and Salna now. Contact with DE, Gazipur or EmEm System Ltd (9897583, 8810408) for this service. Thanks a lot.

I got to know from BTCL citizen charter that “Call forwarding” is one the Value Added Service (VAS) of BTCL. But I can’t get any information from BTCL website that how can I active or avail this service. Can any body plz inform me that how can we avail VAS? It’s clearly mentioned in the website that BTCL (see rates, thn VAS) tk 50 will charge for call forwarding. But how can we got VAS. Send me all details.

For Value Added Services, please contact local Divisional Engineer, BTCL. It may be mentioned that all VAS may not be available at all exchanges.

ভাই EMEM সিস্টেম আপনাদের bcube web এর একেবারে উপরে ৮৮১০৪০৮ এই নাম্বারটি দযা করে ঠিক করেন এর IVR এর settings ঠিক নাই , কাস্টমার হেল্প এর জন্য ১ অথবা operator এর জন্য ০ কোনটাই ঠিক মত কাজ করে না , এত কিছু না দিয়া direct নাম্বার দিয়া রাখুন এই নাম্বার ফোন করে কোনো কাজ হই না সুদু সুদুই বিল উঠানো হই

আমার নাম্বার এ ADSL সংযোগ আছে ফোন নাম্বার টি যদি পরিবর্তন হই তাহলে কে আবার ৪০০ টাকা দিয়া নতুন নাম্বার এ সংযোগ নিতে হবে , নাকি এইটেকে migrate করা যাবে

028832768 is out of order since over a month now. 029890859 used to be with cross connection for quite some time and now it’s been dead for over a week. I ‘ve complained over and over again. Not solved yet. I guess BTCL has gone back to the state of BTTB as far as the service is concerned.

আমার নতুন ফোন সংযোগ টি গত ২৬/০৮/২০১০ লেগেছে কিন্তু এতে কলার আইডি সুবিধা নেই , কিন্তু লাইন নেবার আগে আমাকে বলা হইসিলো যে এখন ঢাকার সব নাম্বার এ কলার আইডি সুবিধা আছে , আমি আজকে ২৯/০৮/২০১০ এ মগবাজার টেলিফোন অফিছে DE এর সাথে দেখা করতে গিয়াছিলাম কিন্তু তার PS আমাকে জানালেন এটা তার কাজ না তাই দেখা করে কোনো লাভ নাই আপনি নাম্বার পরিবর্তন এর জন্য আবার আবেদন করুন ৫০০ টাকার ডিমান্ড নোট সহ, তাহলেই কেবল নাম্বার পরিবর্তন করা যাবে , একই কথা আমাকে জানালেন ADE, MDF, Moghbazar.
আমার ফোনটি আবাসিক , আর কারো সাথে যোগাযোগ করলে কে কোনো কাজ হবে আমার নাম্বার টি ৮৩১xxxx

আপনার বিল অনলাইন রেকর্ডে বকেয়া দেখাচ্ছে জুলাই-২০০৮, নভেম্বর-২০০৮ এবং জুন ২০০৯ থেকে এখন পর্যন্ত! 03163404 নাম্বারে সেপ্টেম্বর থেকে ডিসেম্বর-২০০৮ ও জুন-২০০৯ থেকে এখন পর্যন্ত বিল বকেয়া দেখা যাচ্ছে।
যদি বিল পরিশোধ করা থাকে তবে সেগুলোর ব্যাংকের PAID লেখা কপি নিয়ে টেলিফোন রাজস্ব অফিসে দেখালে রেকর্ড আপডেট করে দেবে। আর না দেয়া থাকলে ওখানেই বকেয়া বিল বানিয়ে দেবে, সেটা জমা দিলেই হবে। ধন্যবাদ।

আমি গত তিন মাস ধরে আমার বন্ধ সংযোগ চালু করার জন্য ইন্টারনেটের মাধ্যমে বিল সংগ্রহ করতে আনলাইনে আসি। সেখানে পাসওয়ার্ড সমস্যার জন্য আপনাদের এই খানে বললে আমাকে কম্পিউটার সেন্টারের নম্বরে যোগাযোগ করতে বলেছিলেন। সেখানে কমপক্ষে ৭-৮ বার ফোন করি কিন্ত তারা নম্বর রেখে দেয় বলে পরে যোগাযোগ করতে তা না হলে বলে যে করবে সে ছুটিতে…….শেষ পর্যন্ত আমি খুলনা, খালিশপুর অফিসে গিয়ে আমার বকেয়া বিল এনে গত ০২-০৮-১০ ইং তারিখে পরিশোধ করি। এর সাথে পুনঃ সংযোগ এর আবেদন ও জমা দেয়। কিন্তু এখন ও আমার সংযোগ বিচ্ছিন্ন। আমার টেলিফোন নং-০৪১২৮৭০২১৩. মোবাইল নং ০১৯১১৫০০৫৭৭. দয়া করে জানাবেন।

বিটিটিবি বা বিটিসিএল এর কাজ কি? নিউজ পেপারে দেখলাম বিটিসিএল কর্মকর্তারা ইউনিয়নের কাছে জিম্মি। এতে কি সরকারের ভাবমূর্তি বাঢ়ে না কমে। নিজেদের আভ্রন্তরিন বিষয়ে যত কম বলা যায় ততো ভালো। ঐতিহ্য বাহী বাংলাদেশ সরকারের একমাত্র লাভজনক প্রতিষ্ঠানের এই অবস্থা দেখলে খুব খারাপ লাঘে। সেবা মুলক প্রতিষ্ঠাণ হিসেবে এর উত্তোরত্তর সর্মদ্ধি কামনা করি।

As a govt organization BTCL has some limitations. They can not do whenever they wish. They should follow some procedures. Another big problem also their limited man power in this field

আপনি স্থানীয় বিভাগীয় প্রকৌশলীর কাছে এবিষয়ে জানতে পারেন। আমাদের WLL সিস্টেমগুলো বেশ পুরনো। সাধারণত যেসব জায়গায় ক্যাবল নেটওয়ার্ক নেই, সেসব জায়গায় এটা অয়ার্লেস সিস্টেম দেয়া হতো। রিমোট এরিয়ার কারখানা/প্রতিষ্ঠানগুলো এর গ্রাহক ছিল। বর্তমানে দেশের বেশিরভাগ অঞ্চল ক্যাবল নেটওয়ার্কের আওতায় চলে এসেছে। তাছাড়া আমাদের পুরনো ও ব্যয়বহুল WLL সিস্টেমগুলো রক্ষণাবেক্ষণও সম্ভব হচ্ছে না। লক্ষ্য করে থাকবেন যে আমাদের পুরনো WLL সংযোগগুলো ক্রমান্বয়ে ক্যাবলের মাধ্যমে ডিজিটাল টেলিফোন সংযোগদ্বারা প্রতিস্থাপন করা হচ্ছে। ধন্যবাদ।

আমি ইসলামী bank এর website এ খুজতেছিলাম দেখি অনলাইন এ BTCL এর বিল পেমেন্ট কি ভাবে দেওয়া যায়. ওদের Products & Services , then ATM Services এ গিয়ে দেখলাম BTTB Bill Payment Procedure . জানা সত্তেও হটাত ধাক্কা খেলাম, চিন্তা করতেছি এটা আবার কোন কোম্পানি পরে মনে হলো
1 July 2008 এ converted হবার আগে এটা টো BTTB ই ছিল,আজকে third August 2010 .
এতদিনেও এটা কেন update হলো না বুজতেছিনা. ওদের ও মনে হয় লোক বলের অভাব !
BTCL এর এগুলো দেখার টো লোকের প্রথম থেকেই অভাব.
আর please কেউ যদি অনলাইন-এ যেকোনো বিল পেমেন্ট এর ভালো কোনো বেবস্থা জেনে থাকেন জানাবেন. আগেও অনেক খুজেছি, পাইনি.

উনাদের লোক বলের অভাব টো তাই দেরী হইতেসে. কত দিন লাগবে বলা মুশকিল. আমার যতটুক ধারণা উনারা ভালো কোনো অনলাইন database মেন্টেন করেন না যাতে কিনা আপনি বিল পেমেন্ট করার সাথে সাথে ওটা update হবে . পরে হয়ত offline e manually উনারা এন্ট্রি করবেন দেন আপনি আপনার বিল status দেকতে পাবেন .

বিল স্ট্যাটাস আপডেটিংটা ম্যানুয়ালি হচ্ছে এখন। ব্যাংক থেকে ডকুমেন্ট আসার পর বিভিন্ন পর্যায়ে লেজারে ও কম্পিউটারে ডাটা এন্ট্রি হয়। ভবিষ্যতে অনলাইন আপডেটিং হলে বিলম্বের ব্যাপারটা আর থাকবে না।

thanks. that means btcl broad band is in Kbps (in kilo bit not kilo bite). Right? Is it shared connection!!!. A emem system people had told me in a computer fair t ECS that btcl connection is shared and we shall get 1/3 (one third) of declared/announced bandwith (as mentioned in their website).

3. Speeds mentioned in the Package are maximum download speed; upload is 25% of the download speed.
4. Service is on best effort basis i.e. maximum limit of the mentioned bandwidth is not ensured at all times.
উপোরের অংশটা বিকেউবের টার্মস এন্ড কন্ডিশন থেকে নেওয়া। আপ্নিই বুজ়ে নেন। ডেডিকেটেড বল্লেও বিশ্বাস করবেন না। আর আপনার বাসার যন্ত্রটায় কাজ হবে।

আমি আপনাদেরকে আপনাদের limitations এর বাহিরে ও আসতে বলতেছিনা. আমি আপনাদেরকে বড় কিছু ও wish করার জন্য ও বলতে ছিনা. আপনাদের jototukoi সামর্থ আছে ototukor বিতরে থেকে যদি আপনারা সততার সাথে, জনগনের কল্যাণে বা আপনাদের কোম্পানির স্বার্থে কাজ করেন আমার মনে হয় না আপনারা খারাপ কিছু করতে পারবেন.
procedure তো অবশ্যই follow করবেন আর সেটা তো অবশ্যই কোম্পানি’র স্বার্থে, জনগনের স্বার্থে তাই না. যেই procedure হাত পা বেধে রাকবে ওটা follow করার কি প্রয়োজন আছে.
আমি কথা গুলো BTCL কে বলছি. আপনাদের সামর্থের বেপারে দেশের একজন নাগরিক হিসাবে আমার সামান্য কিছু idea আছে. আমার তো মনে হয় ওই আপনাদের ওই স্বল্প সামর্থ দিয়ে ও যদি আপনারা ভালো কিছু করতে চান তবে আপনাদের সাতে প্রতিদন্দিতা করে কেও(Telecom কোম্পানি) পেরে উঠার কথা না. আমি জানি না আপনাদের কেনবা লোক বলের অভাব থাকবে ?

আমি সভার -এ রাজাসন এলাকায় থাকি. আমি BTCL এর Broadband ইন্টার নেট সার্ভিস নিতে আগ্রহি. প্রথমত আমার আপনাদের কাছে কিছু জানার ছিল .
1st, আমার বাসায় ল্যান্ড লাইন আছে. এখন আমি DSL নিতে চাইলে আপনারা ওই লাইন টাকেই তো DSL এ রুপান্তর করবেন তাই না ?
2nd, আপনারা যে মডেম দিবেন ওটা Wierless Router কিনা ? আপনারা যে দুটোর কথা বলছেন মনেহছে ওতে তো wireless function নেই. আমার কাছে Compact Wireless-G Broadband Router (WRT54GC) আছে. আমি তো ওটা বেবহার করতে পারব তাইনা .
Third, আপনারা যে ১২৮ স্পীড দিবেন ওটা কি shared or dedicated ? যদি shared হয় তবে কেরকম স্পীড পেতে পারি?
Fourth, আমি যখন ইন্টারনেট use করব same time এ যদি adsl splitter ফিল্টার লাগানো থাকে তবে কি আমি ফোন বেবহার করতে পারব ?
Fifth, আমি যদি আমার মডেম বেবহার করি তবে কি Setup & Configuration Charge দেওয়া লাগবে?
আজ এ পর্যন্তই, আশা করি আমার উত্তর গুলো খুব তারাতারি পেয়ে যাব.

আপনার বেশির ভাগ প্রশ্নের উত্তরই পেয়ে যাবেন http://www.bcube.net.bd ওয়েব সাইটের FAQ (frequently asked questions) অংশে। প্রথমত, আপনার বর্তমান ল্যান্ড লাইনে ADSL broadband দেওয়া যাবে কিনা ওয়েব সাইটে চেক করতে পারেন বা ফোন করতে পারেন EMEM System -কে। দ্বিতীয়ত, আপনার ADSL Modem-ই লাগবে। Wireless router যেটা আপনার আছে সেটা দিয়ে আপনি একাধিক কম্পুটারে ইন্টারনেট নিতে পারবেন, কিন্তু শুধু ওটা দিয়ে ADSL Modem-এর কাজ হবে না। বাকি সব উত্তর FAQ-এ পড়ে দেখুন।

আজ কাল বাজারে যে router পাওয়া যায় এর সবগুলোই modem with router as well as wireless . so , এটা adsl এর কাজ করবে.
brother , bcube এর website এ সভার ৭৭১০০০০ & ৭৭৪১০০০ এই দুটো no দেওয়া আছে List of the Possible Connection Number এ . আমার no হলো ৭৭৪১৩১৫. এখন এই নাম্বার এ connection দেওয়া যাবে কিনা বুজতে ছিনা. আর না গেলে কবে পাওয়া যাবে please বলবেন .

আপনার WRT54GC টা একটা ওয়্যারলেস রাউটাভ। এটাতে Wan RJ45 port-এর মাধ্যমে broadband connection ঢুকবে আর চারটা LAN RJ45 port or wireless network -এর মাধ্যমে এক বা একাধিক কম্পুটারে ইন্টারনেট সংযোগ পাবে। এতে কোনো ADSL modem নাই যেটাতে টেলিফোন লাইন ঢুক্তে পারে। ফলে বুঝতেই পারছেন WRT54GC দিয়ে শুধু LAN (local area network) হবে, যেখানে Wan RJ45 port দিয়ে broadband connection ঢুকবে।
আর ৭৭১০০০০ সিরিজ সাপোর্ট করে মানে আপনার ৭৭৪১৩১৫ নম্বর -এ হবে।
Bcube shared band, not dedicated band, কাজেই স্পীড কিছু কম্-বেশি হতে পারে।

1st – Not DSL, But ADSL( A little bit difference). You are right. We use same line. 2nd – Our system support wireless modem. But I am not sure this model what you say will work or not. 3rd – We offer dedicated BW. It is not shared. 4th – You can use both service at a time no problem. 5th – This set up & configuration charge for BTCL side only. Customer side configuration is free this moment. Thanks.

DSL means (Digital Subscriber Line )
DSL & ADSL এর মধ্যে কোনো পার্থক্য নেই . DSL হলো টোটাল Techniques or
Technology এর নাম . অন্য ভাবে বলতে পারেন it is a group of technologies that provide high-speed Internet access.
There are basically two types of DSL techniques -
Asymmetric DSL: ADSL, RADSL, VDSL are types of Asymmetric DSL
Symmetric DSL: SDSL, HDSL, SHDSL are types of Symmetric DSL
So , আমরা ADSL (Asymmetric DSL ) বেবহার করি .

আমার ০২- ৮৮৩২৭৬৮ নম্বরটা সপ্তাহখানেক হলো খারাপ। বিভিন্ন ভাবে কম্পলেন দিয়েছি। কিন্তু এখনও ঠিক হয়নি। শুনেছি ৮৮৩ সিরিজের বম্বরগুলি বদলে ৮৪১ হয়ে যাবে। এখনও ডায়াল টোন নাই। কোন নম্বর হিসাবে আছে, কবে ঠিজ হবে তাও জানি না। কিছুকি জানা যায় এ বিষয়ে?

BTCL has gave dealership to Emem because they are government org. They have lack of person for support and sale. But Emem does not support and sale on friday.sukrobar kono dorkar hola sonibar porjonto bose thakte hoy. A Bapare urdhoton kotrepokher dristi akorshon korchi.

I have been using bcube-premium since 15th may 2010. From the very first day till now I was never able to use internet more than 5-10 minutes at a time.After that 10 minutes time the “adsl indicator light” starts to blink and again reconnect itself..and after repeating of 4-5 times like this everything freeze and i have to manually disconnect and reconnect . I have new copper wire connection from dp box upto my splitter and no parallel phn connection in the house . Please suggest some solution here and if possible visiting of a technical person will be highly effective in solving this problem.
My btcl no. is 9116690(sher-e-bangla-nagar exchange)

আপনাদের এখানে গত ১৯ এবং ২৯ জুন আমার 8150892 নম্বরটির ব্যাপারে অবহিত করার পর আপনাদের পক্ষ থেকে কোনরকম feedback-ই তো পেলাম না! আর SSI Cell-এ তো কমপক্ষে ৮ বার ফোন করেছি! প্রতিবারই আমার number এবং address রাখা হয় এবং বলা হয় আমরা দেখছি। এর মানেতো দাঁড়াচ্ছে আমার ১ম করা complain-এর কোন value-ই নেই! অবশ্য এটাও বুঝতে পারছি না আপনারা এই লেখার কোন response দিবেন কিনা! যদি দেন তো kindly জানাবেন আমার করণীয় সম্পর্কে।

সমস্যাটা কী, সরাসরি স্পষ্ট করে বললে ভাল হয়। এখানে মেটওয়ার্ক এডমিনিস্ট্রেটর বলে আলাদা পদ নেই। বিটিসিএল এর বিভিন্ন ধরণের নেটওয়ার্ক ইনফ্রাস্ট্রাকচারগুলো বিশাল। দায়িত্ব ভাগ করা আছে বিভিন্ন ডিপার্টমেন্টের মধ্যে। বিটিসিএল একটি বৃহৎ অপারেটর এবং এর পরিচালন পদ্ধতি কিছুটা ভিন্ন। ধন্যবাদ।
