BCube (ADSL Broadband) এর নতুন রেটের অনুমোদন বিটিআরসি ও মন্ত্রণালয় থেকে পাওয়া গিয়েছে। বতুন সার্ভিস VPN through ADSL এর রেটও নির্ধারণ করা হয়েছে। কার্যকর করার তারিখসহ লোকাল অর্ডার জারী করা হচ্ছে। নতুন রেট ওয়েবসাইটের charge & rate পাতায় দেয়া হচ্ছে।

দেখলাম http://www.btcl.gov.bd/rate/rate.htm রেট কমানো হয়েছে। আনলিমিটেড এ ৫০-২০০ টাকা কমেছে।
Volume Based এ স্পিড বাড়ানো হয়েছে কিন্তু Data Limit বাড়ানো হয়নি ।

hi….i live under khilgaon telephone exchange….is anywhere here can use autoconnect feature…. i mean without dialing everytime…
also i just bought a wifi adsl router(tplink w8961nd)…configured it as per process but couldnt get it to work….
always connect feature is not working…..and windows ppoe dialer also giving error 651….

1. go to modem (i mean 192.168.1.1 )
2. click on “Quick Setup”
3. then leave vpi and vci with default value ( i mean, 0 & 35), click on next
4. select “PPP OVER ETHERNET (PPPoE)”, click on next.
5. insert user id & password
6. save & reboot.

Ministry থেকে BTRC কতোদিন লাগলো? আর BTRC থেকে BTCL এ কতোদিন লাগবে। দয়া করে জানালে আমরা বাধিত হই। কোন বাহনে বা মাধ্যমে আপনারা পত্রাদি আদান প্রদান করেন, জানাবেন কি? আমাদের ধারণা, আপনারা ই-মেইল নামক কোনো কিছুর সাথে পরিচিত নন। আর পরিচিত হলেও সেটা আপনাদের দ্রুতগতির ইন্টারনেটের কারনে যথা সময়ে পৌছায় না।

মন্ত্রনালয়ের সবাই ব্যস্ত। দাম কমালে তো আপনাদের লাভ, মন্ত্রণালয়ের লোকজনের তো কোনো লাভ নাই। এইটা যদি টাকা মারার কোনো প্রজেক্ট হতো, তাহলে দেখতেন কাজের গতি। এই শয়তানগুলারে যদি পাবলিক একবার হাতে পাইত… তাহলে…।
বিটিসিএল বা মন্ত্রণালয় এর কেউ যদি, একবার এই লেখাটা দেখেন, তাহলে আমার এই প্রশ্নটার উত্তর দিয়েন – আপনাদের এই স্বেচ্ছাচারীতার কি কোন শেষ নেই?
দেশ আর দেশের মানুষের স্বার্থ চিন্তার জন্য আপনাদের হাতে একটা মিনিট সময় আছে কি? হয়তোবা নেই…।

Hello I am a BTCL subscriber of ADSL. For the last two days I have no internet connection. My connection is stable but I can’t ping outside world ip address rather than 180.211.148.1 which is a BTCL server & this server is not reachable from outside world. Please solve this issue asap. When I am using BTCL (ADSL) Internet, Trojan virus is attacking my system. But when I’m using any other internet line, this problem is not happening. What can I do now? And this is happening from today (11.12.11).

The best set-and-forget solution to this problem is to use a NAT/Wireless router between your PC and ADSL. Otherwise, use a software firewall. No ISP can protect you from such attacks originating from public network without adversely limiting your connectivity.

1-3 Dec 2011 eAsia 2011 উপলক্ষে মেলা হচ্ছে বঙ্গবন্ধু আন্তর্জাতিক সম্মেলন কেন্দ্র (প্রাক্তন চীন-বাংলাদেশ মৈত্রী ভবন), আগারগাও এ। দোয়েল ল্যাপটপের একটা স্টল দেয়া হয়েছে, সেখানে প্রথমদিন বিকেল চারটা থেকে ল্যাপটপ বিক্রি হচ্ছে। স্পেশিফিকেশন ( http://www.tss.com.bd/config.pdf ) দেখে কিনতে পারেন। এছাড়া টঙ্গী টেশিস কারখানা সংলগ্ন বিক্রয়কেন্দ্র থেকে কেনা যাবে।
টেলিটকের একটা স্টল আছে, তারা ৩জি সেবা চালু করবেন শিগগিরই।
এছাড়া ডাক ও টেলিযোগাযোগ মন্ত্রণালয়ের একটা স্টলে বসছেন বিটিসিএল, সাবমেরিন ক্যাবল কোম্পানী, খুলনা ক্যাবল শিল্প সংস্থা (তারা দেশে টেলিফোনের তামার তার ও অপটিকাল ফাইবার বানাচ্ছেন) ও ডাক বিভাগ (তারা ক্যাশ কার্ড বিক্রি করছেন)।
বিটিসিএল এর ইন্টারনেট বিভাগের প্রকৌশলীরা স্টলে বসছেন। সন্মানিত গ্রাহকেরা স্টলে এসে সরাসরি তাদের সাথে এডিএসএল, ভিপিএন, এমপিএলএস ইত্যাদি বিষয়ে এবং বিভিন্ন অভিযোগের ব্যাপারে কথা বলতে পারেন।
৩দিনে ৪টি হলে ৩০টি সেমিনার অনুষ্ঠিত হচ্ছে আইসিটির বিভিন্ন বিষয়ে। দর্শকেরা একগুলোও উপভোগ করতে পারেন।

I notified to you through web site complain option as on dated 16.11.2011 about my telephone is inactive since one year. You also replied through E-mail to me about status. But there was no action taken to repair my telephone line. I also noted to Jatrabari Complain camp office as on 17.11.2001, complain no is 06. But they did not take any action to repair my phone.
I need solution. When will my telephone be active?

My phone number 7546865. I am using 512 infinity package. Last 2 weeks thke ami amr username/pass die connect korte perci na, Invalid dekhae. Last week saturday te emem e phn dilam, ekhane 2ber comment dilam. Emem thke bollo 1din er maje phn kore new pass dibe. Thursday porjonto wait kore phn dilam. Arek eng bollo deri hobe btcl thke naki pass dicce na. BTCL SSI cell e phn dilam. Ek madam arek number die bollo phn dite. Uni abr arek number die bollo bcube divisional eng ke janan. Unake phn dilam 2 din hoe gese. Bollo janabe but kono khobor nai. Emem ke o abr complain dicilam. Bollo janabe but kono khobor nai. মগবাজার টেলেফোন exchange এর ৮৩৩xxxx নাম্বার গুলোর কলার আইডি কোন format এর DTMF না FSK , কারণ এই নাম্বার গুলো কিছু ফোন সেট এ দেখায় আবার কিছু সেট এ দেখায় না , সুদু মাত্র DTMF + FSK compatiable সেট এই ৮৩৩ এবং ৯৩৪/৫/৬ সবরকম ফোনের নাম্বার দেখায় ,
যদি প্রবলেম তা অন্য কোথাউ থাকে সেটাও জানাবেন আসা করি

Duralaponi Bhai,
I can’t connect to my account from the last 3 days. When i dialed always it said “Invalid username and password”. Someone else using my account for sure. Because just for my line checking purpose i used one of my friend username/password and it was totally fine. So i need to change my username and password immediately. Please help me as soon as possible. My phone number is 7546865 and i am using 512 unlimited package.
I have also low snr margin and very high attenuation on my line. Currently i am using G.dmt mode and my snr 6.5 kbps, attenuation 61 kbps for down. Thats why, sometimes i got frequently disconnected problem. Please fixed my problem and if needed come to my place. BTW, i have changed my cable recently and also trying to check different adsl mode like G.lite. But still high attenuation. Please Please take immediate action. I am very much suffering from that problems.

For changing my password last sunday i was calling emem systems and one person told me that tomorrow he will give me a new password by calling me. আমি ০২৭৪০০৫৬৭ নম্বরের গ্রাহক। জুন/২০১১ এর পর থেকে আমি আমার ফোন বিল পাচ্ছি না। বিটিসিএল এর ওয়েব সাইট থেকে ডাউনলোড করার চেষ্টা করে ব্যর্থ হয়েছি। সেখানে কোন ডাটা শো করেনা। নিয়মিত বিল না পাওয়া, এমনকি ওয়েব সাইট থেকে বিল ডাউন লোড করতেও সমস্যা -এমন সেবা নিশ্চয়ই কোন গ্রাহক আশা করে না।

কুমিল্লা থেকে বিটিসিএল এর ডায়াল আপ ইন্টারনেট সংযোগ এর মাধ্যমে লগ ইন করতে কিছুদিন ধরে সমস্যা হচ্ছে। হোম পেজ থেকে বিটিসিএল এর ওয়েব মেইল এ ও ঢোকা যাচ্ছে না। সার্ভারে সমস্যা থাকলে সবাইকে নোটিস করা উচিত।

I am using BTCL unlimited 1mpbs in chittagong. from several days i found the internet connection very slow. Speed test to London server is is fine. But New york or India server speed test is only 128kbps. What is the problem? Please let me know.

BTCL is going through major problems in regard to bandwidth/peering. I tried to discuss/clarify this several times with BTCL officers and EMEM representatives for about a few weeks now. None of them seem to accept the problem. They use their own language/tone to sidestep from the real issue:
BTCL: No there’s no problem. If you still have problems, file a written complaint.
EMEM: You and your modem needs a treat. We are coming to your home. Have a good day!
I also posted here some links to fluctuating test results in speedtest.net couple of days ago. It was wonderful to see how my perfectly al-right message was moderated away. Well done BTCL!

I hope you did some research before posting here. I am from Dhaka too. But, the problem we are talking about has nothing to do about Dhaka/Chittagong/Narayanganj. It’s an international bandwith/peering issue.
If Internet is all about Facebook/Yahoo/Google to you, then you can say, Speed is OK. Otherwise it’s not. Go to http://www.speedtest.net/ and test how much of your 1mbps remains in effect with servers in major cities around the world.

I also had same problem regarding speed.
I could download with download manager but browsing speed was extremely slow with connection error. I hope someone from BTCL can explain about this issue.

New month coming soon. Still we are not getting any good news for BCUBE rate. Others have reduce rate except BCUBU user. We are the victim and each month paying more than others. I am totally fade-up now on BTCL. Two month gone when btcl reduce their bandwidth charge and you guys give us hope for new rate. Why still not done? Is it a joke with us? Are you guys sleeping? Hope not and from the next month we will get our Eid Gift from BTCL. Please reply.

Im getting low speed in torrent though seed is good. Torrent problem is fixed. But it shows 123kbps at first, than after downloading 11mb, all times, speed is reducing below 50KB/S & is not enhancing. What is the reason? I have 1mbps connection.

Today is Moday the first day of week for International market. EMEM told we may have to wait till tomorrow to fix the problem.
But it is only 4:15pm in Bangladesh. Can it not be fixed in 2 hours time.
What answer would we give to our clients for not being on line on the first day of the week ?

Click2Net (Premium Dial-up Internet) এর মূল্য পূণর্নিধারণ করা হয়েছে। ৩০ পয়সা/মিনিট থেকে কমিয়ে ১৫ পয়সা/মিনিট করা হয়েছে। E1, STM1 এর মূল্যও পরিবর্তন করা হয়েছে। ১৪/০৬/২০১১ তারিখে বিটিসিএল থেকে পাঠানো এসব প্রস্তাব বিটিআরসি ১২/১০/২০১১ তারিখে অনুমোদন করে এবং এই তারিখ থেকে কার্যকর হবে।

প্রায় ৬ দিন নেট বন্ধ থাকার পরে ৩-৪ দিন ১-৪ কেবিপিএস স্পিড আসছিলো। এখন সেট ঠিক হলেও পুরোপুরি ঠিক হয়নি। দেখা যাচ্ছে, ১ এমবিপিএসে অনেক সময়ই পেজ লোড সম্পূর্ণ হচ্ছে না। ডাউনলোড স্পিড দেখাচ্ছে ১০-২০ আবার কখনো ৫০-৬০ (অর্ধেক)। অর্থাৎ ১ এমবিপিএসে ১০০-১২০ কেবিপিএস ডাউনলোড প্রায়ই পাওয়া যাচ্ছেনা, কিছুক্ষণ কোন কোন সময় পাওয়া যাচ্ছে। এই সমস্যার আশু সমাধান আশা করি । দয়া করে সমস্যাটি সম্পর্কে খোঁজখবর নিয়ে অতঃপর একটি ফিরতি মন্তব্য দেবেন। ধন্যবাদ।

adsl upto mdf is okay, fault is beyond mdf. signal at your end is very poor. some causes are -
1. You have bridge tap in your line.
2. There is(are) parallel line(s) in your connection.
3. There is EM interference in your line.
4. There is(are) joint(s) in your drop wire.
5. Line loss is more than range.

I am using btcl adsl connection in shagunbagicha phone no.7170240. Why is my latency with most site high…. specially with Asian servers….during the night sometimes it falls…..i also see that sometimes it is routed through india and sometimes through europe in the same day….why is btcl routing so bad at the moment. this was not a problem 3months back. i like to know will the routing problem be fixed soon or not.

My number is 7546865. I am using 512kpbs unlimited package. From the last 2 weeks i am facing frequently disconnected problem and speed was terrible. I got 10-20kpbs most of the time. I can’t stream video except youtube even on facebook video. What’s the problem? I think not only Rajshahi problem is on Dhaka city also. BTCL each month we are paying you more than others, but you are providing us poor service. If you have some technical problems or you don’t wanna provide us better service, then please let us know.

Dear Customer you are in Dhania, Merajnagor. In this area btcl cable condition is not good. You know interference, noise margin and attenuation play very important role in case od data communication. These parameters are depended on cable line condition and surroundings. So, in this area adsl service will got some problems. We are sorry for that. But, maitaining tiptop cable condition you can get good service. Please contact to local exchange.

রাজশাহীতে কেউ বিটিসিএল কানেকশন নেবেন না। রাজশাহীতে এই মাসে ৬ দিন কোন ইন্টারনেট ছিলোনা। আর এই ৩ দিন ইন্টারনেট চললেও ১ এমবিপিএস ইন্টারনেটে স্পিড আসছে মাত্র ১-৪ কেবিপিএস। পেজ লোড হচ্ছেনা কিংবা ৫-১০ মিনিট পরে লোড হচ্ছে। অথচ কর্তৃপক্ষ নাকে তেল দিয়ে ঘুমাচ্ছে। কারো কোন মাথাব্যথা নেই। ২দিনের মধ্যে যদি লাইন সারানো না হয় তবে প্রত্যেকটি বাংলা ব্লগে বিটিসিএলের এই চরম নিম্নমানের ইন্টারনেট সম্পর্কে কাস্টোমারদের অবহিত করা হবে। এই মাসে ৯ দিন (৬ দিন+৩দিন না থাকার মতই) ইন্টারনেট ফাংশোনালি নেই । এর জন্য বিটিসিএলকে এই মাসে সকলের ইন্টারনেট বিল সেইভাবে দিতে হবে। এত খারাপ সার্ভিস চিন্তা করা যায়না ।

Dear customer, as our accounting system is not yet automated, we can not inform you by mail. But you can check your payment status online and talk to Sr Accounts Officer (who signed your bill) if necessary. Please see ‘bill’ page, there you’ll find whom to complain if you don’t get hardcopy of bills. Also if you visit concern revenue office, then they’ll make a due bill (if any) for you. If you see that online status is not properly updated, show them the paid copies. You can ask revenue office to give you a bill clearance certificate.

02-7813099 tel bill for Sept.2011 has not been generated yet on the internet, while others have. Can you please check why? 02-8881065 bills are not delivered at all. It used to 02-8832768 and its bill was delivered occasionally. I always check for tel bills on the internet and pay through HSBC Easy Pay Machine. The only difficulty is I have to arrange the exact amount for each bill. If I could pay online through internet or through ATM by debiting from my ATM card, life would have been easier.

More than 20 connections are 1 Mbps at Rajshahi. None have placed such an issue to us. But your case seemed to be special. It may be caused in the system, it may be caused in your line ( cable) , it may be caused beyond adsl i,e gateway , also it may be caused due to pc problems. We will check it seriously. Thanks.

Don’t take BTCL connection in Rajshahi. In a month,you will only get internet for maximum 10 days and there will be no internet for 20 days.
BanglaLion is the best in Rajshahi, cheap and 24 hours connection.

ধন্যবাদ, আজকে কানেকশন পাচ্ছি, কিন্তু খুবই স্লো। ১ এমবিপিএস কানেকশনে ডাউনলোড দেখাচ্ছে মাত্র ১০-২০ কেবিপিএস। রাজশাহীতে কাস্টোমার কেয়ারের উন্নতিসাধন করা দরকার। যেদিন ইন্টারনেট চলে যায়, সেদিন আর আসেনা। ১-২ দিন অপেক্ষা করতে হয়। এবার ৬ দিন একেবারেই নেট ছিলোনা। আবার লগইনের সময় অতিরিক্ত সময় লাগছে লগইন করার জন্য। রাজশাহীতে ভাল সার্ভিস যাতে ভবিষ্যতে পাওয়া যায়, সেজন্য আপনাদের প্রতি দৃষ্টি আকর্ষণ করছি।

internet (Not only adsl) was down at rajshahi. It was 3 days + 3 nights( 3 days + 3 nights is not equal to 6 days or 10 days) due to link prob. We are simply sorry for the incidence. Your remarks and guidance will help us.

There was no connection for nearly 6 days, 6 nights+5 days, not 3 days+3nights. That’s a sheer lie. Still, your internet is not functioning ok. The download speed is very slow, 10-20 Kbps showing in 1 mbps connection which should be 110-120 Kbps. So. net is not working properly. and why such things happen so frequently ? Every month such incident happens and net is unavailable for 2-3 days. This time it was 6 days. Improve the quality of your connection or people will not take your BTCL connection in Rajshahi.

Your Dial-up internet Line is very Slow
(35 or 40 Kbps).
please, you give me more speed Dial-up internet line (Up to 56Kbps).
Your Dial-up internet Line is very costly,like .30ps/min.
If I use Aftab IT Limited Dial-up internet Line then I can use a Card like 100TK for 40 hours any time.
The cost per minute of Aftab IT Limited Dial-up internet Line
is 100TK./40Hr = 2.5 TK./60mit.= 0.042 TK./mit..
See that,
Aftab IT Limited use 40 hours cost 100TK.
BTCL use 40 hours cost 828Tk.
The cost is .30TK * 60mit.=18 TK.* 40hr = 720 TK.
and 720TK.+ (720TK. * .15VAT) = 828TK.
But, If I Use internet 40 hours by BTCL Dial-up internet Line then it is very expensive.
If I go to Cyber Cafe , I can get Service Browsing (384 Kbps) per hour 20TK
But, If I Use BTCL Dial-up internet Line then its cost per hour is
The cost is .30TK * 60mit.=18 TK.+ (18TK. * .15VAT) = 20.70TK.
So, I can get better sevice from Cyber Cafe (384 Kbps) per hour 20TK.
Many people can use WiMAX internet line or others line.
On the other hand , when I use BTCL Dial-up internet Line then
I can not use BTCL phone .
Why I use BTCL Dial-up internet Line that is very costly.
Please, speed up your internet Line ( Up to 56Kbps) and I can use it if cost per minute is 0.045TK.
I think many people in Bangladesh whos income is low or unemployed can use more BTCL Dial-up internet.
if your line speed is up to 56Kbps and cost per minute is 0.045TK.
and no hidden charge.
If the people of Bangladesh can use more internet its develop our beautiful country and BTCL get more revenue.
Otherwise, I can not Use Dial-up internet Line of BTCL .

My telephone number is 8953382 and through ADSL modem I have an Internet connection. But I unfortunately I could not use that service because of noise in the line. I have made many complain but I did nit not get any fruitful result. May I request BTCL management to look into my problem!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

লাইনে নয়েজ হলে আপনার লোকাল টেলিফোন এক্সচেঞ্জে যোগাযোগ করেন, অথবা লাইনম্যানের সাথে কথা বলুন।
আপনার কপার ক্যাবল পুরানো হলে কিংবা ক্যাবলে বেশি জোড়া থাকলে নয়েজ বেশি হবে। টেলিফোন পুল থেকে যদি আপনার বাসার দূরত্ব বেশি হয় তাহলেও নয়েজ বেশি হবে সেক্ষেত্রে নরমাল কপার ক্যাবল ইউজ না করে টুইস্টেড পেয়ার অথবা CAT5/CAT6 ক্যাবল ইউজ করতে হতে পারে। নয়েজের আরেটা কারণ হল হাইভোল্টেজের বিদ্যুতের তার। এটি যদি আপনার টেলিফোন তাদের সাথে ক্রস থাকে তাহলে ইলেকট্রো ম্যাগনেটিক ফোর্সের কারণে নয়েজ বেড়ে যায়া। BTCL টেলিফোন সংযোগের সময় সাধারণত দুই ধরণের কপার ক্যাবল দিয়ে থাকে। একটার ভেতরের কপার একটু চিকন অন্যটা তুলনামূলকভাবে মোটা। আপনার যদি চিকনটা হয় তাহলেও নয়েজ বেশি হবে।

Emem, SSL & Sisview are outsourcing partners of BTCL for BCube (ADSL) service. SSL will also provide BLink (DDN) service. BTCL is the ISP and telecom service provider. The connection will be provided through BTCL telephone line (copper cable). If a client needs above 2 Mbps then multiple ADSL or optical fiber cable will be provided.
Copper cable maintenance problem is a headache now a days. No outsourcing firms are available for this kind of service.
We’ve signed an agreement with fiber@home to share their network which will make us able to reach some buildings in some areas. BTCL also has some optical fiber POPs at different places in the city. In future we hope to replace copper cable with fiber.
Wireless broadband network is also required. We have dropped the wimax project and now planning for the more advanced LTE metwork.

আপনি সমস্যাগুলো নিয়ে আগে রাজবাড়ী বিটিসিএল অফিসের কর্মকর্তার সাথে আলাপ করুন। উনার/উনাদের নাম ও পদবী জেনে নিবেন। তারপর এখানে জানান উনাদের বক্তব্য বা ddt@btcl.net.bd ইমেইলেও জানাতে পারেন। আমরা প্রয়োজনীয় পদক্ষেপ নেয়ার চেষ্টা করব। ধন্যবাদ।
